I am happily married. My husband and I have raised 3 children. I was a full-time stay-at-home mom and homemaker, until the kids grew up. I was warned this would happen but I found it hard to believe at the time. Obviously, my "disbelief" was merely the understandable desire to hold onto that precious time of motherhood. However, it was also thrilling to watch our children grow and evolve into the wonderful adults they've become. We are so proud of them. They continue to amaze us.

But entering into the post-motherhood era presented the next challenge: what comes after raising the kids? I considered numerous possibilities and finally concluded to just do what I love to do, which is to pursue what interests and inspires me, to be creative, to learn new things, and to enjoy the simple things of life.
