My name is Marilou! I am a wife, mom, and homemaker who loves being creative. Just for the record: saying I love being creative merely summarizes the immersiveness of my creativity. To more fully articulate that absorption, it should be stated that I live and breathe my creativity! Whatever creative mode I am in, be it art (both digital and tangible), crafting, sewing, writing, free motion embroidery, even building this website, I am feeling it and, in that sense, living through it.
My creativity is inspired by all that I love; nature, the season changes, the weather, the holidays, both the city & country life, the history & rusticity of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and so much more. Everything I make is produced in my home-based, breakfast nook studio using a collection of tools, supplies, art mediums, fabric, etc. My favorite machines to work with are a Silhouette Cameo 5 electronic die cutter and an older, basic Kenmore sewing machine. Likewise, the technology I favor is generative AI (for some images only. All text content is written by me) and the Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw, and Silhouette Studio Business Edition software.
