This cranberry sauce is delicious and easy to make.
- 2 cups water
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 2 - 12oz packages fresh cranberries (I use the Ocean Spray brand)
- Rinse cranberries in cool water and drain.
- Mix the water and sugar in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Stir in cranberries and return to a boil.
- Reduce heat to a gentle boil and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour sauce into a bowl and cover. Cool completely at room temperature.
- Refrigerate until serving time.
